| The Buccaneers' regular-season opener against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium will not be televised locally because the game is not a sellout. It's the first time in 13 years that Bucs fans have experienced a blackout.
But at least the organization is no longer in the dark.
Coach Raheem Morris has returned the identity to the Bucs after taking over the defensive play-calling duties with six games remaining in the 2009 season.
Morris' version of the Tampa 2, or the Tampa 2.0 as Ronde Barber has dubbed it, includes more blitzing and an array of different coverages. | The Carolina Panthers weren't fooling around when they started their youth movement. It's produced the NFL's youngest team. According to STATS LLC, Carolina's average age of 25 years, 233 days is the most youthful in the league based on Wednesday's 53-man rosters. It comes after the Panthers shed numerous veterans -- and payroll -- in the offseason. |

| Resting on the top shelf of Jake Delhomme's locker are a ratty set of shoulder pads, hand-me-downs from New Orleans teammate Billy Joe Tolliver. Delhomme brought the well-worn equipment with him to Cleveland after seven seasons in Carolina. He wears them during training camp because they're much lighter than new ones, and any break from the summer's heat helps. |

| Former Pro Bowl kick returner Clifton Smith has signed with the Miami Dolphins. Smith, released Sunday by Tampa Bay, joined the Dolphins for Wednesday's practice. He made the Pro Bowl with the Buccaneers as a rookie in 2008, when he averaged 27.6 yards on kickoff returns and 14.1 on punt returns. Smith led the NFL in kickoff returns in 2009 with an average of 29.1 yards. |
